WOW+FLUTTER

WOW+FLUTTER is an original performance piece which premiered at The Chocolate Factory Theater in 2009. It combines original text, original and found footage, David Foster Wallace’s short story, “Good Old Neon,” quantum physics, and time-travel to explore fraudulence, masculinity, and what happens immediately after a person dies.  Simultaneous, synchronized performances happen in both the upstairs and downstairs space with the performers connected by climbing equipment via pulleys and an empty shaftway between the two spaces.
