I forgot about lunch.  Now we are getting out of chronological order.

Today, while in the midst of this project, I ran into my friend Rocio.  It was very nice to see her and hear her opinion on the entire business.

I dont think it failed actually
and I dont think it has anything to do with ze frank apart of using the blog format and of course the blogging culture in general
I havent had a chance to watch everything yet
but apart of thinking that the videos where funny,
it made me feel very weird as I was watching someone I know in his day
it made me feel like I was spying on you and I was about to leave a comment but I couldn’t
so no I dont know what you were aiming but I dont think it was unsuccessful.

I meant to suggest that you just keep posting videos about you commenting about the video you just did.

I mean, lets get as recursive as possible here, I want to see the previous video playing the previous video while you’re video taping it.  That’d be my particular flavor of meta,

The idea was to use documentation as content for the 5-in-5 project.  I knew that I had nothing going for me starting this, but I thought I’d end up with more than I have at this point.  Video takes a long time to shoot and edit and upload, even when it’s done poorly as is the case here.  But what is the documentation of?  There has to be content to document.  Otherwise all I am doing is make-em-ups.  I understand the draw of contentless recursion for this, but that seems like just as much of a one-trick-pony as what I’m doing here.  In the end, then, I believe this might just turn out to be the worst that unfocused, undisciplined technique and concept has to offer.

Feeling that old feeling again

Here’s some documentation of Adam and Andy’s Telepathic Bit Transfer.  Thanks for letting me participate!

I followed Kristin outside on this beautiful NYC summer day to get some documentation of her making some urban shadow line drawings.  Kristin had said she did this when she was a kid, but not in an urban unvironment, rather at the beach.  She and her friends would make up tabletic scenarios and trace the shadows of their outlines into the sand.

Adam Parrish and Andy Miller are working on a project today to test their assumptions about telepathy.  Using Processing, they are creating a computer program to log the success rate of transmitting a single bit of binary data through mental power alone.  We’ll check in later!

Hey there!  Welcome to metametametablog.  This is a blog that I’ve just super right now right now decided to create.  The purpose of this blog is to document my process of documenting my day and to let as many people know about it as I can.  My day will consist of completing a project as part of the 5-in-5 series at NYU’s Interactive Telecommunications Program in New York City.  I’ll be doing everything I can to let you know about my progress throughout the day.  I’ll be doing tutorials on life, uploading music videos that I make, uploading precious photos of myself, and interacting with my readers.  Basically, I’m doing everything that comes to mind.  Filtering is low.  Release early and often.  Make desicions quickly.
